I believe that we get “old”, stiff and tight because we stopped doing the things we did when we were young.
Traditional workouts typically are linear. We do repetitive movements time and time again which over time, stiffens us because that’s the only way our bodies remembers how to move.
Tissues mold to the position we are in the most. If we are sitting, we get stuck in that sitting posture. If we don’t counteract the sitting posture, it gets worse over time. If we workout in a linear fashion without experiencing the full ranges of what the joints are supposed to do, issues happen over time.
We live in a world of tension and chaos. There’re so many things going on at once that it’s so easy to get sidetracked to focus on what we want vs what we need.
So I developed this video series to help guide you in the right direction.
Movement Unwound is a series of movement concepts and principles, it’s a non-bracing, non-tensing, and full exploration approach on how to unwind the body out of tension by learning how to breathe, de-stress, move each joint one at a time, then progress to putting it all together and learning movement and mobility flows that help drop the body from Sympathetic to a more Parasympathetic State.
By learning the basic to advanced concepts of breathing, Qi-Gong, Joint by joint movement mechanics, then tieing it altogether if full-body non-tensing sequences that you can apply to everyday life.
