We’ve been talking to people around greater Portland who are refurbishing cherished possessions, lending items to their neighbors and passing along things they no longer use. Their reasons vary. Some do it to save money, others do it to accumulate less stuff and throw less away.
Meet Lorraine Lynn and her mom Jeanne Johnson. They stopped by a Repair Cafe at the Gresham Library—where volunteers helped bring light back to an inherited lamp.
