An EASY and HIGHLY EFFECTIVE deep stretch to help open tight hips. It’s a combination of half split and deep lunge, and it’s one of the few postures that enables you to safely stretch your psoas.
The psoas is one of the largest and deepest muscles in your body, running from your low back down through the front of each hip to your femur bones.
This large muscle tends to get tight and ornery after sitting for long periods (creating stress in your low back) but it’s notoriously difficult to stretch because it’s so deep and hard to access.
This stretch uses blocks to help you effectively access the psoas and release accumulated tension and tightness throughout your hips and low back.
And if you’re interested in a morning yoga routine of hip stretching and whole body strengthening that will help you SHINE, I invite you to join me for a 30 day morning yoga challenge. Just click the link below to sign up. It’s totally FREE
